Hello Family and Friends of The Arc Caddo-Bossier! It's been a full month around here — camp field trips, a luncheon full of red, white, and blue, some big grant news, and (as you'll see below) a goodbye to someone who meant a lot to this organization.
Here's what's been happening.

It is with deep sadness that we share that on June 30, 2026, Becky Kester, a beloved former employee of The Arc Caddo-Bossier, passed away.
Becky was a true architect of inclusion throughout her life. She served as the Administrative Assistant to Executive Directors Lucy Poulsen and Janet Parker. Becky was compassionate and dedicated. She truly valued our mission of building unlimited opportunities for people with disabilities. She will be deeply missed.

We had so much fun at Camp Victory last month! Campers participated in activities like interactive reading with United Way of Northwest Louisiana, learning about nature with Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park, trail rides, and so much more!
Camp Victory is an inclusive summer camp for children ages 4-10 years old with & without disabilities.
