We hope you all had a safe and happy Halloween! We celebrated at our Goldman School and Child Development Centers with our annual Goldman School Trick or Treat Parade. At our Conly Day Program, we had a costume and pumpkin decorating contest and other fun Halloween activities! We would like to thank our amazing judges who came to our Conly Day Program, including Jim Taliaferro, Joanna King from Elite Health Solutions, Matthew Dixon from the Shreveport Police Department, and Beth Ann Arnold!

The Arc of Louisiana's Annual Awards ceremony was recently held in Gonzales, Louisiana. Charlene Edwards was honored as The Arc Caddo-Bossier’s Direct Support Professional (DSP) of the Year. She has served our organization for 40 years with unmatched care and dedication. Barbara “Barb” McManus was named Volunteer of the Year for her 15 years of committed service with our GREAT Program. The Arc Caddo-Bossier also received the Chapter Innovation Award for our creative efforts to provide inclusive and engaging recreational experiences across all of our programs and divisions.
