The Arc Caddo-Bossier’s Goldman School and Child Development Center provides childcare and early education/intervention for children with and without disabilities in an inclusive environment. Children with intellectual and developmental disabilities learn and progress alongside their typically developing peers, promoting growth and acceptance for both parties. The program was founded 70 years ago when a group of parents of children with disabilities decided to create educational opportunities where there, at the time, were none.
