Chef Blake Jackson
Chef Blake Jackson is the former founder, owner & chef of The Drake Foods Group in Shreveport, LA. He founded Drake Catering & Whisk Dessert Bar and sold them in March of 2023. He also had previously partnered in Drake Valet, Prepared Nutrition & 421 Texas Events. His Nouveau Louisiane cuisine has been a driving force melding Louisiana and Southern foods with international flavor and technique. This was reflected in his savory bites as well as the playful southern sweets at Whisk Dessert Bar.
Chef Blake is a winner of the Louisiana Food Prize, a recipient of the ACFNO Best Chefs of Louisiana & has been featured on Food Network. He has a passion for regenerative farming reflected in his rancher and farmer relationships, bringing local and sustainable food to North Louisiana. He considers his greatest accomplishment his family; Hailey, his wife, and kids, Ada James and Emile. Together they take every opportunity to travel, explore and of course, eat.
