Harry is a self-taught artist. His favorite medium to paint in is oil. He is mostly inspired by prominent Americans of African American heritage. In the 80's, Harry worked in a laundry/uniform cleaning plant. The plant utilized large three ton vats for laundering. During a transfer of a vat, Harry's thumb, index and middle fingers were severed from his hand, leaving on the ring and little fingers.
